Camped under an oak tree last night to escape gale force winds and ultimate rain. Should be there in 2 hours now.

Wee bit wet this morning

Camped up for the night at an old fort. Another 12 miles today but mostly up and down hill-climbed 150 feet, back down to water level and now up at 350 feet again.

Weve all got blisters now and face being eaten by highland cows tonight but really enjoying it. Drumnadrochit for breakfast tomorrow.

Leaving fort augustus this morning. Feet covered in blisters but the sun is out so its all good.

After walking 15 miles today in "sunny intervals" my arse! Decided to get a canadian canoe from Loch oich. Another 7 miles down river and now in fort augustus.

Stopped for the night on the banks of Loch Lochy. Managed to get in about 11 miles this afternoon. Got mac cheese from a can tonight-mmm

Just left the old fort ruins at Fort William 5 minutes ago. Wished well on our way by a woman from tasmania no less.

Bags packed. Ready to go. Cant believe how bloody early it is...

Having a look round fo and stevies plot this morning. Foundations already finished.

Wohoo! Have just moved flat today. Totally nackered now but well worth it. Up Morningside. Off to check out our locals now.

Prodigy tonight

Having lunch on Inchlonaig, Loch Lomond. Absolutly roasting. Last day of holiday today but got the prodigy tonight. Cant wait.

gone all evil this week with my facial hair. been told I look like george michael - and a bit of a paedo - I prefer to be known as a pogonotrophist however.

Took this the other night. Got a new flat so am going to miss the view. Will be next to bruntsfield tho so it'll be just as good.

After an amazing weekend at T in the Park, went gliding with my dad in Kinross. Photos dont do it justice (click for set) but it was a superb experience - I dont know how next weekend is going to live up to this one ;)

Finish the weekend with the proj. Superb!

Made it at last. The tent can wait...need beer.

Got pretty used to seeing this kind of thing now. This was taken at the bottom of my street.

Took me ages to get to work today. Town full of police for some reason. Got stopped at traffic lights while 5 (yes 5!) officers directed traffic. Now that is good use of public money

In a slightly hungover state and with nothing better to do on a Saturday morning we decided to do the Bargain Hunt Chartiy Challenge. Stockbridge is full of charity shops so the idea was to pick up summint really cheap, stick it on eBay and watch the bids roll in. Problem being that I am hardly Hugh Scully and ended up buying some old tat that nobody (including ourselves) actually wants. Read the well dodgy descriptions Here, Here and Here. I wont tell you who bought what (out of me, Ewan and Elviz). Take a swatch and feel free to bid - 4 days and counting!

After a very productive day charity shopping for an upcoming Bargain Hunt eBay type project (more later), spent the afternoon in the park.

Am now lying in my flat watching Glastombusy live (cant wait for TiTP now by the way) nursing a rather pink belly with a cold Cobra - the beer not the snake.
